From the Airport to the Lift Line

A ski weekend for ten means ten people, ten pairs of skis or boards, boots, helmets and bags. Two rented SUVs will not carry it; one 15 passenger van will. Bandago keeps vans minutes from the airports in Denver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, New York and other major cities, so the group can land, load up and drive to the mountain together. Every rental includes 250 miles per day, and additional drivers are free.

Room for People and Gear

Sprinter cargo holds and removable Transit seats mean ski bags do not ride on laps. Bring soft bags, tell us how many seats to pull when you book, and we will have the van configured before you arrive. Seats come out from the back row forward, so a group of eight can still have acres of floor.

Close to the Mountains

Denver to the I-70 resorts. San Francisco to Tahoe. Los Angeles to Big Bear or Mammoth. Portland to Mt. Hood. New York and New Jersey to the Catskills, the Poconos and Vermont. Pick up in the city and make the drive in one vehicle, with one driver who knows the route.

Know Before You Go: Winter Driving

Our vans are rear-wheel drive and we do not supply tire chains, so plan for mountain conditions like you would in your own car: check the chain controls and traction laws for your route before you leave (Colorado's I-70 traction law and California's chain controls apply to vans too), carry what the road requires, and drive to conditions. Driving in areas that require chains is at your own risk, and the vans stay on paved roads. Every van comes with 24/7 nationwide roadside assistance.

Drivers Rotate for Free

Add up to four drivers per rental at no charge (25 or older with a valid license), so the pre-dawn drive up and the tired drive down are split between friends instead of falling on one person.

Make the Drive Part of the Trip

Select Sprinters carry a TV and game console, and power outlets keep phones alive for the whole run. Pets are welcome, so the dog can come to the cabin (bring a blanket; heavy shedding may mean a cleaning fee).

Fly In, Drive Out

Our branches sit a short rideshare from the airport, so the group lands and loads one van instead of queueing at a rental counter that does not stock 15 passenger vans. Flying home from a different city? One-way rentals between Bandago locations are available.
